Morecambe Bay Food Bank at Salt Ayre

Donating food to the food bank:

Due to self isolation, school closure and other aspects of COVID-19 all food banks are under considerable pressure.  They are unable to access essential left over stocks from food wholesalers and from supermarket donations.

I am now in contact with a support group for the Morecambe Bay Food Bank. Below is a list of items needed most urgently:

  • Beans (tinned)

  • Meat (tinned)

  • Fruit (tinned)

  • Vegetable meal (tinned)

  • Fish (tinned)

  • Vegetable (tinned)

  • Soup (tinned)

  • Tomatoes (tinned)

Whilst I appreciate that you will be trying to ensure food for yourself and immediate family at this time it would be so helpful if you could also donate to help others in greater need.

Items can be left at my house - a DONATIONS box will be outside my front door all day - see below for address and location.

If you have items to donate but cannot bring them here PLEASE contact me and I will collect them from your doorstep.  Once a suitable amount has been donated items will be collected from my house and taken to the food bank.

PLEASE HELP!  THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO URGENTLY NEED YOUR DONATIONS - HOWEVER SMALL. Thank you!
